Episode 35 | It Snows In The Canaries!

Yes it snows in The Canaries! And this year was exceptional as the snow fall was in lower altitudes and abundant. My friend Saray came to visit for a few days and we went on some excursions. We visited Cueva del Viento, one of the world’s longest lava tunnels. And up to snow capped El Tiede. As a native of Lanzarote, she had never touched snow before, we found some in shady areas around the mountain and her expression tell all. The weather was cold and constantly changing, so it was not the best time to sail, but a great day to visit Casa del Carnaval. A warm up to the upcoming Carnaval de Santa Cruz.
