Project Description

In my opinion, there is no better way to learn about your boat and how to sail it than by doing it alone. I set out for this challenge with a 20 knot wind in my face. Heeling at close reach, I had to go to the bottom of the mast to take reefs. It was the first time I put put on my life jacket and harness. Then dropping the anchor alone in wind gusts and at night. As well as a wake up call from my friend Bix. My boat was drifting away during a powerful squall in the middle of the night! That did not stop me and Bix from going out on the town to have a good time.
